Bisque socket head character doll with two faces, marked with logo of Max Schelhorn and mold S370. Wonderful doll with smiling and crying faces with crisp molding details, molded and painted brown hair, multistroked eyebrows, dark intaglio eyes with white dot highlights, molded eye sockets with upper and lower eyelids, open/closed mouth. Jointed composition body (much wear, especially on hands). Attractive boy’s suit, vintage shoes and stockings. Never before seen in this large size!, Schellhorn produced between 1907-1925, doll mark is SS, doll mold are 120, 121, 122, 123, 370 and S370
