Engine house #58 of wood, cast iron, and tin engine house is referred to in the Carpenter catalog as #58. Very unusual in that this version has a tin roof, whereas most known examples have a wood frame covered in a striped cotton cloth. Wood sides enhanced by cast iron windows and front has two cast iron doors, hinged and ready to open
