1876 the company Georg Brandstätter was founded. They produced casket fittings and locks.
1908 his son George took over the operation and introduced brand "geobra".
1921 the company moved to Fuerth, they produced metal goods and toys and traded with them. Phones, money boxes, cash registers and scales from sheet metal for child shops.
In 1954 Horst Brandstätter comes to the company and moved the production to plastic.
1958 began the production of the famous hula-hooping.
1974 PLAYMOBIL figures were first produced and began their triumphal march.
