Company history and description of the company Eugène Gesland, Paris, France

Gesland produced from 1869 dolls with porcelain breast plates and crank head of the company Gaultier. The hands and lower legs were from porcelain and the remaining body of a tricot cloth above a hinge metal frame with hinges which gave the dolls a very great mobility.
From 1872 the heads came of Gaultier.
Some dolls are without mark others are marked with E. Gesland.
