Gesland produced from 1869 dolls with porcelain breast plates and crank head of the company Gaultier. The hands and lower legs were from porcelain and the remaining body of a tricot cloth above a hinge metal frame with hinges which gave the dolls a very great mobility.
From 1872 the heads came of Gaultier.
Some dolls are without mark others are marked with E. Gesland.
