Company history and description of the company Hoge Mfg Co., Manhattan, New York, USA

In 1909, the company was founded by Hampden Hoge. They produced office supplies until 1931.
1919 Hampden Hoge left the company.
1931 Henry Katz sparked his company and started at Hoge with building a toy department. Matta Truck Manufacturing was entrusted with the production of their own designs. To this belonged passenger and animated circus cars and electric and clockwork locomotives.
1939 this product line has been discontinued.
1958 Hoge was taken and dissolved by Mattatuck. The name is owned by Robert Huge not a relative of the founder.
