Company history and description of the company Kindler & Briel GmbH (Kibri) in Böblingen, Germany

In 1895 the company was founded by Kindler and Briel in Böblingen and produced metal toys for doll houses, toy shops and accessories for model railways. Other materials came from suppliers.
Collectors appreciate the between 1930-1940 and 1949-1955 produced stations, level crossings, roundhouses and other accessories for gauge 1 , 0 and 00. By the pre war catalog of Trix is known that Kibri also produced for other manufacturers. Kibri limited itself to produce only train accessories and never produced himself railways.
1948/49 the production after the Second World War took up again with the mark."Kibri - Made in U.S. Zone Germany".
Resumed in 1952 the stamp " Kibri - made in West Germany".
mid- 1950s replaced the plastic injection molding technology gradually metalworking. Kibri was next Faller one of the leading manufacturer of accessories for model railways.
1973 the production in Böblingen had to be adjusted by an arson attack, but was resumed in 1975.
