Company history and description of the company Saalheimer & Strauss

On 20.11.1911 the company Saalheimer und Strauß was founded by Justin Strauss and Adolf Hall Heimer. They produced writing goods and toys.
On 7/31/1924 Saalheimer left the company.
After the first World War the company prospered. The trademark consists of two intertwined S small enrooled Success. Many products were produced and the company itself was probably internationally oriented just from the beginning. They also produced toys for others.
From 1929 they produced mainly cars and motorcycles. They were internationally known with their mechanical banks.
Ca. 1936 Philipp Nidermeier acquired the company. The Strauss family emigrated to New York.
