In 1951 Roy Selvyn Smith established Selwyn Miniatures with the financial aid of Otto Goldstein.
Produced were miniature lead medieval knights in true heraldy. He designed and produced the masters for 5 of the original Courtenay Knights. These being figures Z14, Z17, Z19 & Z20 and one figure that was not issued.
In 1952 after 9 month the company was closed after Goldsteins death.
Smith went to Harolod and designed tome of their earliest plastic figures.
Smith sold the right to the Knight molds to Britains.
