Company history and description of the company Reichel Carl Moritz Erzgebirge in Germany
02.18.1883 Carl Moritz Reichel started producing wooden toys in Niederlauterstein in the Erzgebirge.
In 1924 his sons Max and Ewald took over his business.
From 1948 Gottfried the son of Max became the manager.
In 1972 the company was nationalized by the GDR.
They produced mainly - adapted to the respective time- lifelike merchant shops and doll houses made of spruce.
