1936 the son of the co-owner Gerhard Helm took over control of the company.
Mesco supplied many companies with different products.
Mesco also produced transformers that also were sold from companies such as Bing, Bub, Krauss, Trix and Piko.
In 1952 the Company afeter the expropriation of 1946 in the GDR was absorbed in the VEB Kaelbwerk Meissen.
The successor company "Photon Meissen Technologies GmbH" still exists today.
