In 1850 Madame Marie Antoinette Leontine Rohmer startet making dolls in Paris.
She created elegant lady fashion dolls from 14" to 18" tall with china or bisque swivel head kid lined shoulder plates, articulated jointed body of kid leather.
They have an oval stamp in green color on the chest, lettering MME ROHMER BREVETE SGDG PARIS.
The earliest doll have rare gutta percha rubber arms or arms made of China or bisque, glass eyes or painted eyes, very detailed eyelids, wigs, blushed cheeks, closed mouth. Her dolls are very well known for their elegantly dresses.
