Sightseeing bus, over the years Converse made a number of different and interesting toys. Most well known is the Converse trolley, utilized as a pull toy, clockwork version, and the infamous body style used by Lionel for their electric trolley version. This particular toy only came with a clockwork motor (functional) pinned below the floorboard with a key shaft extending upwards through the roof. Handsomely painted in attractive colors, this early automotive toy has cast iron wheels with rubber overlays, rear steps for entrance to passenger compartment, and a fringe about the roof. A unique feature of this vehicle is the steering is done by means of the rear swiveling wheels.
