Military red cross truck with red flatbed and white tarpaulin with red cross sign, dark green bonnet, rare, driver with service cap and service uniform with red bows on collar, cuff and cap, identical red cross truck with red bonnet instead of green is already here in this database (21043) and in Christie's Auction Catalog: Fine Penny Toys from the David Pressland Collection, 2005, p. 27, no. 173, furthermore there is a very similar Military Red Cross truck, with medical corps on the long sides in this database (52452) , the civilian version of the truck is already in this database as a delivery truck (23054) and see Cieslik: Encyclopedia of the German tin toy industry, p.110, 5th row, No. 3.
By the red cross sign belongs to the platform Truck, no matter if green or red bonnet, to the military:
