Description:
Doll with bisque head, marked: "7407 (very faint) // 3 // Germany // (sun mark)" on a clean ball jointed body with marvelous original finish. Her lovely somber face has brown glass sleep eyes surrounded by painted fine lashes, feathered brows, plump blushed cheeks and sweet closed pouty mouth. The baby-style light brown human hair wig has bangs showing under her ruffled cotton bonnet. Poutys whole costume is very early: the so-charming vintage calico dress has the tiniest brown triangle print, red featherstitching and pearl buttons. Underneath is full slip with five tucks and lace at the hem, pantalets with three tucks & hem lace, brown cotton knit sox and darling red oilcloth ankle-tie shoes.
