AMERICA trimotor plane, this is the largest cast iron plane that Hubly ever made, this huge plane features three engines that when rolled upon the floor the propellers would spin in unison, this one is of slightly later vintage as Hubley through a cost cutting measure reduced the size of the wheels which in reality was more in line with the overall appearance of the plane. Utilized were small wooden hubs with rubber tires as opposed to the over-sized steel disk wheels with black leather tires. Toy is enameled in a gray finish with red highlighting.
