Description:
Car number 72 was a coach with eight wheels. Early roofs are gloss black with hand-painted details on the clerestory. These cars also come in maroon with gold or silver lithoed lettering and details. Lettering "TWENTIETH CENTURY LIMITED EXPRESS" and "SAN FRANCISCO"
The second picture shows on th right the smaller windows of the 72 coach and on the left the bigger windows. This change to wider windows was probably 1907 or 1908. The 70 and 71 remain the same.
The change to green roofs is probably 1908 and 1909.
