Description:
Cast iron miniature organ mechanical bank, blue coat variation, Provenance Griffith. Designed by Louis Kyser & Alfred C. Rex, patented 5/13/1881. This bank is calculated to highly amuse children, as it is a musical toy as well as a saving bank. When the handle is turned a chime of bells will ring continuously, while at the same time the monkey will deposit in the bank any coins that may be placed on his tambourine, expressing his thanks by lifting his cap.
