Description:

Climbing monkey Tom #385, the monkey is in red, yellow and green. The box art shows how it works. You put one end of the string under your foot and then pull on the top of the string and watch the monkey in felt coat climb to the top. This one has the metal pull tab in the shape of the Lehmann logo.
There are several versions:
Early version has a rough-sprayed jacket
Later version has a lithographed jacket
Box and monkey with inscription Tom
Box and monkey without inscription Tom

VEB produced from 1945 a TOM with the No. 700 "TOM"
