Description:
Crossing ringer, Warning bell #69.6, painted in red and aluminium with black lettering "LOOK OUT RAILROAD CROSSING FOR LOCOMOTIVE", has two operatings bells, this was Lionels first track-actuated accessory, in 1936 it was renumbered 69N, it has a square stamped sheet metal base with a tapered steel lattic post, the post was capped with a nickel or brass finial, from 1921 it has one bell and in 1927 two bells were installed
