Description:
NEW YORK EXPRESS, lithographed. It has three two tired tunnels and three flat and curved cutouts loaded with illustrations of buildings between the tunnels. The 3 dimensional building in the center of the toy that has the wind-up motor enclosed in it is the post office and has New York written on the roof. Also written on the roof are the following: "Insert Aero Here", "Trade Mark" and "Pat. Pending". It has "Louis Marx & Co., N.Y." written on one side of the building and "U. S. Post Office" written on the other side. The outer edge (ring) of the toy has illustrations of skyscrapers and boats. On the flat center portion of the toy there are illustrations of the stairs leading up to the post office building with people shown coming and going as well as 1920s cars driving to the parking lot which has other cars parked there.
