Description:
Home mechanical bank, made of tin from William Morrison, 5216 Reistertown, Baltimore, MD, patented 7/16/1872. Pull the knob until it catches; place the penny on ist edge in front of the cashier; push the knob to the right, and the deposit is made in the vault at the rear of the bank, it depicts a bank builidng with a teller in the enctrance, it comes in two versions , the earlier one with wooden insides and the later one with tin insides, building has red brick with gray stone work corners and base, roof is gray blue, front column entrance has gray stonework, lettering in blue "HOME BANK"
