Description:
Early tin wind-up biplane with pilot. Extremely scarce early hand-painted biplane features composition pilot in the driver's seat. Plane is an almost exact replica of the very first flying machine. Has a wind-up mechanism with two cardboard propeller blades in which when the plane is held by a string propels the plane in a realistic motion. Incredibly detailed and rare. Plane is painted yellow with red pinstriping, the under frame of plane is painted light brown. Plane is complete with four tin wheels so that it may be able to run on the ground as well as fly in the air.
